Description

We meet at noon the third Wednesday of the month in the Cooma Uniting Church hall. Our aim is to promote the growing of chemical-free food in backyards. Our group has an alliance with the Cooma Uniting Church and Cooma Challenge. We run workshops in the Uniting Church's backyard in Soho Street Cooma to show people how to start a vegie garden from scratch and enhance their existing vegetable patches.

We hope to create a community focal point to improve the quality of life on The Monaro by having a place for our community to come together to:

* Grow organic food
* Nurture individuals
* Cultivate community cohesion
* Harvest seasonal foods and celebrate our diversity
* Build community resilience

A common ground for the Cooma community.

Our aims are to create a greater sense of community, social inclusion, grow food in our climate and find new ways of growing in this climate. To share knowledge between generations, encourage organic home gardening and share produce.

Would you like to:

* Show your support? or
* Do you have materials or time to donate??
